Payment and Shipping Guarantee
Method of Payment
We accept money orders, cashier's checks, personal checks, cash, and debit/credit cards via PayPal (click on link above). We offer payment plans with a deposit of 25% of the purchase price, and the balance to be paid within 3 months time.
California Sale's Tax
If you are a CA resident, a 7.75% sale's tax will be applied to the purchase price of the animal.
Deposits
Deposits are required to ensure the customer's intent to buy. A customer may back out of the deal within one month of receipt of the deposit, but 10% of the purchase will be withheld as a "restocking fee." A restocking fee is applied for many reasons- main reason being potential loss of sales and decreased market value due to competitive pricing. After the period of one month the entire deposit is withheld and may be applied to another animal, less the decreased market value of the intended purchase. If the deposit is for an expected animal and we do not produce your desired animal, then your deposit will be returned in full.
Shipping
We currently use two methods of delivery of our snakes and it is the preference of the customer as to which method is used. Either way, we will need your home address and phone for delivery. We generally do not like to ship during the "heat" of the summer and "cool" of the winter, solely to ensure the safe arrival of your new snake(s).
UPS Overnight (Redline)
UPS overnight normally costs somewhere between $45 and $55 depending on the
size and weight of the package. UPS guarantees the package will arrive at
your home the next day (usually before 10:30 am). We will
give you the tracking number of the package so you may track its progress.
You may opt to have UPS hold your package at the center if you feel the snake
will be safer there than being driven around in a delivery truck.
Otherwise, UPS will ship the package directly to your home.
Continental Cargo and Delta Airlines
Air Cargo normally costs $75 and higher depending on the shipping priority (e.g CMR and
QuickPack for Continental, or Priority First and Delta Dash for Delta). The package will be held in cargo at your nearest
international airport and they will call you upon its arrival. We will
give you the air waybill number so you may track its progress.
We guarantee the snake will arrive safely and be in perfect health. We will reimburse the purchase if the unexpected occurs.
Our Guarantee
Many of our established breeders have been with us for about 4 years, with most of our new animals being produced by us. We are mite free and all animals are in perfect health. In addition, our collection is closed to the public and has not been exposed to any outside elements. Our snakes are carefully and constantly monitored for any peculiar behaviors and we keep a feeding/shed/breeding record on each. We make every effort to be as clean as possible.
Any babies produced here are guaranteed to be voluntarily feeding and in perfect health. Since babies leave our facilities and come into our customers hands, we feel we have to establish a period where we will guarantee the snake's mortality. We have no control of how our babies are cared for outside our facility. Therefore, we will 100% guarantee the health of any snake(s) purchased for a period of one month. After which, each snake will be considered on a case by case basis. We feel this is fair. Snakes rarely die with proper husbandry.
If the animal perishes within the one month "guarantee" period, we will require some verification as to its demise. This may sound a bit morbid, but it is for our protection. Providing digital photos, vet bills, and/or the dead animal itself, are ways in which a customer may prove the death of an animal. We hope this will never happen, as will you.
